Local Navigation Webinar
Our Local Navigation Course is a perfect compliment to our Powerboat Mastery Course, providing local knowledge on passes, sandbars anchorage areas and, most importantly, where not to go. Here is what you will learn in this course:
- Local Navigation Knowledge: Using nautical charts and satellite imagery, we will show you the local waters including Wiggins Pass, Doctors Pass, Gordon Pass, Capri Pass, and Caxambas Pass. We will also teach you the inside routes betwwen Naples Bay, Keewaydin and Goodland.
- Aids To Navigation System (ATONs): Understanding the red and green markers is critical to your success in navigating our local waters.
- Understanding Tides: Knowing how to read a tide chart is very important, especially in the shallow areas in Naples and Marco Island.
- Weather Conditions: We will teach you how to determine if the conditions are right for boating.
If you are looking for more advanced navigation training, consider taking our Coastal Navigation Course.
