Frank was excellent! We received way more than we expected, from learning how the motor works and cools off to understanding the navigation systems. Frank was very patient and answered all our questions thoroughly. Additionally, we had a wonderful day on the water, practicing anchoring and docking several times, which was our goal. As a previous inland lake boater with a 17ft sterndrive boat, we felt like it was important to have a training captain to help with our new 27.5 ft walk-around boat with twin 200 outboard motors in the Marco Island area. Captain Frank exceeded our expectations and the investment of time and money potentially saved us a lot of issues. Thanks so much for getting us up the learning curve! Two great days at 4hrs per session (we felt "saturated" after 4 hrs)! His instruction is awesome…tons of information, excellent balance with coaching and knowing when not to “over-teach/instruct" so we could work through things. The boating training with Captain Frank was fabulous, I highly recommend it! While I have quite a bit of boating experience (all fresh water, lake based), it’s been a while and I also wanted specific hands on training in several areas. Past boating experience was trailering the boat, so I wanted specific hands on training with fueling, docking and more. Given the new boat is on coastal waters I needed help with the navigation (Garmin) and more. Frank was always calm, incredibly helpful and knowledgeable.
