Florida Boating Safety Course
The Florida Safe Boating Course is mandatory and must be completed before scheduling other courses. It provides foundational knowledge on boating safety topics. Additionally, the free online course covers rules of the road, the ATON or Aids To Navigation system, state and federal requirements, and safe vessel operation.
On-The-Water Power Boat Training Course
Our On-The-Water Power Boat Training Course is for boat owners, and will teach you everything you need to know to safely operate a single or multi-engine boat in Southwest Florida. You will learn:
- Docking and maneuvering in close quarters
- Anchoring the vessel
- Reading nautical charts
- Navigating with GPS
- Understanding tides and weather
- Following the channel markers or ATON’s
Combining this course with the Florida Safe Boating Course prepares you for boating in the waterways of Naples and Marco Island. Starts at $525.
Advanced On-The-Water Power Boat Training Course
Our Advanced On-The-Water Power Boat Training Course is for boat and yacht owners, and includes everything in our basic on-water training course, PLUS:
- Docking with joystick and multiple engines
- Voyage planning
- Radar and autopilot navigation
- Destination training
- Extended amounts of training time
- Insurance certifications
Combining this course with the Florida Safe Boating Course prepares you for boating in the waterways of Southwest Florida and well beyond. Starts at $2,100
Rental Boat Training Course
Our Rental Boat Training Course is the same as our on-water training course for owners, but taught aboard a chartered vessel out of Naples Bay Resort. You will learn everything you need to know to safely operate a single-engine boat including:
- Docking and maneuvering in close quarters
- Anchoring the vessel
- Reading nautical charts
- Navigating with GPS
- Understanding tides and weather
- Following the channel markers or ATON’s
Combining this course with the Florida Safe Boating Course prepares you for operating rental boats in Naples and Marco Island. Starts at $1,000 which includes the cost of the boat.
