When are your private boating classes scheduled?
- All of our programs are private and conducted by appointment only.
- We do not offer any group or public classes. This ensures a personalized learning experience tailored to your needs.
Where does the training take place?
- Our school is wherever your vessel is!
- Our certified instructors travel to your boat for private, 1:1 coaching. We provide hands-on training right on your own vessel.
How many people can participate in the onboard training?
- We generally recommend no more than two trainees per session for the best focus and results.
- For a distraction-free environment, we suggest that small children and other guests remain ashore during the training.
Do you provide boats for the training sessions?
- No, you must provide your own vessel, with one exception: our specialized Rental Boat Training Program.
What types of boats do you train on?
- We specialize in training aboard powerboats only.
- We do not offer services for sailboats, jet skis, personal watercraft (PWC), or small jet boats. We also do not provide instruction on trailering your boat.
Can I buy more training sessions?
- Absolutely! You can buy as many as you’d like.
- Our goal is to help you gain the confidence you need. Sometimes that requires additional lessons.
Does your program satisfy insurance requirements for licensed captain training?
- Absolutely! We can provide you with a completed training syllabus and a formal letter on our letterhead.
- You can submit these documents directly to your insurance company as proof of professional, certified instruction.
How far will you travel to provide a course?
- Depending on the season and our schedule, we will travel anywhere in the continental U.S.
- The only requirement is that you are willing to cover our travel expenses.
