Connecticut Boating Safety Course
The Connecticut Safe Boating Course is mandatory and must be completed before scheduling any of our other courses. We do not offer this course, but the link below will direct you to all of the NASBLA and State of Connecticut approved courses. It provides foundational knowledge on boating safety topics including rules of the road, the ATON or Aids To Navigation system, state and federal requirements, and safe vessel operation.
Powerboat Mastery Training Course
Our 4-hour Powerboat Mastery Training Course covers everything you need to learn to safely operate a single-engine boat under 26 feet.
- Hands-On Learning: Gain practical experience aboard your own boat with expert guidance from a licensed captain.
- Comprehensive Curriculum: Cover essential topics like navigation, tides, weather, docking, anchoring, rules of the road and VHF radio usage.
Have a larger boat? The 6-hour version of the Powerboat Mastery Training Course offers a more advanced curriculum including:
- Docking with twin engines
- Joystick operation
- Radar and auto-pilot usage
- Generator and shore power usage
- Onboard systems including air conditioning

Owner Assisted Delivery & Training
Moving your boat shouldn’t mean missing out on the experience. If you’ve recently purchased a vessel or are moving it for the season, our Owner-Assisted Delivery service is the perfect hybrid of professional transport and hands-on coaching. We don’t just move the boat; we help you become a more confident mariner along the way.
How it Works:
We join you on your vessel to manage the heavy lifting of navigation and passage planning, while providing one-on-one training on your boat’s specific systems, electronics, and handling characteristics.
Service Areas:
All of Southern New England from New York City to Boston including Montauk, Newport, Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket, and Cape Cod.
Program Details
For Local Training & Captain Services:
Half-Day (4-Hour) Rate: $500
Full-Day (6 Hours) Rate: $750
For Owner Assisted Deliveries:
Underway Days: $750 per day
Travel and Lay Days: $375 per day
